Monarch — African Wax Print Folding Fan
Made in Ghana

Bombchel was founded by Archel Bernard, who designs for the baddies of the world and backs it up with a women-run factory in Liberia.
The Monarch fan is handcrafted in Ghana - a deep purple wax print alive with radiating burnt orange geometric shapes and soft white bleeds, evoking the striking wings of a monarch butterfly in classic batik style. Finished with a leather-wrapped handle and attached loop.
Each fan is one-of-a-kind. Wax print patterns may vary slightly.
Why We Love It
- Regal is the word. This one carries itself
- The BTS video of these being made in Ghana went viral on Instagram - and once you see how they come together, you'll understand why
- The circular pleated design delivers a serious breeze with minimal wrist movement. The people standing next to you will thank you
- Clips onto your bag via a leather loop - so it's always there when you need it
